So I was broswsing crafty blogs and came upon this:
Heather Bailey's Paper Globes. These would be great for many occasions- Birthdays, weddings, luncheons, etc. You don't have to display them as pictured here. You can string several of them up and use as garland or hang them indiviually for a totally differnent look. I thought these were cute and wanted to share. Here is a link to the DIY and to Heather's website! http://heatherbailey.typepad.com/heather_bailey/2008/01/paper-globes.html
I sooo had to post this! OMG I didn't know they really exsisted! I mean, other than the "tour pink jeep" deals. But whatever, I am freaking out here! I so would LOVE to get my hands on this! (Own it of course!) HOLY COW! REALLY?! Am I this excited about a Pink JK?!? Ummmm PshYeah! Hello?!? I am a JEEP LOVER! No matter what people say that is bad about Jeep, I still am a full supporter! Thanks to my lovely husband for getting me infected with this incurable disease! lol
TGIF! So, it's Friday and a great time to celebrate the weekend! I am hosting a "Girl's Night" party at my house tonight and I am so excited! I am expecting around 15 girls and lots of fun! A couple of weeks ago I went to a Pure Romance party hosted by a friend and had a blast! Thanks Melissa! So I thought that I would host one and have a girls only night to go with it! (alcohol optional =]) I am tickled pink for you to see my table arrangement! I used a black table cloth and a square piece of zebra print paper that I got at Hobby Lobby and set it at an angle and used flowers that my hubby got me for Valentine's day as the centerpiece! It looks fabulous if I do say so myself! Here is a link to Pure Romance by Melissa if you are interested in what it is, but I warn you it's adult eyes only! http://www.prbymelissa.com/
Happy Valentine's Day Y'all! My family and I will not be going out in those crowds for dinner tonight! We always choose to stay home and not fight the madness! But this past Saturday night my husband and I celebrated good 'ole V-day by going to a Mystery Dinner at Magnolia Manor with my parents. I was sketchy at first, but it was great! Loads of fun! They interacted with the crowd well and made it so much fun! Magnolia Manor hosted the event and Show Offs! of Anderson, SC did the Mystery! For dinner the cranberry/pecan salad started us off and it was tasty! For the entree' we had a choice of Chicken Monet with rice pilaf & green beans or Pork Medallions with mash potatoes & green beans. For dessert we could pick from cherry chocolate cheesecake, chocolate cake, or a parfait! All was yummy! Dinner was prepared by Glenn the owner and he did a fabuouls job! The staff of MM were friendly and fast! Thank you Joann & Glenn for hosting such a great event!
Well I'm starting a "new me" I guess you could say. After six months of being jobless, I finally tagged a job! A job that I love and hope to continue with for a VERY long time! I have also quit smoking completely! No cheating and slipping like I usually do! This time I have really got my mind set that nothing will make me do that junk ever again! So now that I have two goals pretty much accomplished, I have one more that has alway been a life challenge for me. That challenge is my weight. Ugh just typing that word make me cringe! Well it has got to be done and I will lose weight somehow. I don't have a plan yet, but I will let you know. lol Yes, that is how I procrastinate. Well see how it goes!
