The female equivalent of bromance. Describing a strong and vibrant friendship between two straight women, the term womance combines the words, "woman," and, "romance."

A common sport among prisoners when an inmate unwraps a Jolly Rancher and places it between his/her butt cheeks. They then move a few paces away and wait for an unsuspecting "fish" to "take the bait" and eat the butt-Rancher.

Taking a plastic or metal spoon & giving it swag by taking photos with it.

that my Jeep is no longer black. It's green from all the dang pollen!

to be going to the beach for Easter! I told Zane that I hope the Easter Bunny could find him there. He said that the Easter Bunny can hop any where! Love that kid!

that I am trying to get into a routine of daily exercise and it's sad to say that it has yet to be consistent.
to be cooking at home a lot more. I've been trying lots of new recipes. I even created my own masterpiece last night!
that I haven't seen my BFF in a week or so. She knows that I still love her to death! In my defense I have called her at least!

that I am already aggravated with puppy potty training. Why does it have to be so hard? Can these puppies not come programmed? haha!

to wish to meet several of my bloggy friends! Hopefully, if I can get up the nerve, I will meet some at the Charlotte Color Run! 5k just scares the heck out of this fat girl!

that my Moma always told me that if you can't say nothing nice don't say nothing at all! Well dang it is hard to bite my tongue sometimes! But needless to stay I have kept my lips still even though I want to add my two cents in!

to get hooked on someones blog you come across. I've been known to start from the beginning of their first post and read all the way to current day! I've done this lots! It helps me get to know the person better.

I have been MIA for a few days and starting to feel under the weather.

Our trip back to Coal Creek was great! I was happy that it didn't rain too much. Just enough to make it lots of fun!

Spring Sweets Swap

Yummy! I got all kinds of goodies! I noticed the Smeeps right off the bat, and so did Zane! We made them for dessert this weekend! They were so good! She also sent miniature Reese cups and Fruit gummies. Lil man loves those too! Monica also sent some Popcorn from Chicago! I haven't tried any yet, but I am sure that it is delish!
She wrote a sweet note! Thanks girl!

Weekend in Photos

This weekend was a busy one! I felt like I was non-stop! From church benefit, to a birthday party, and sadly death. My conclusion, too much emotion balled up into one weekend. I'm ready for another off road trip this coming weekend!

This past week I finished the quilt I was working on! This was an extra that I added to it!

Here is Zane loving on Willow. She doesn't let him too often because he tries to be mean to her or squeeze her guts out. I can always tell he is being mean to her because she growls at him. That is the only time she growls is at his mean butt!

It was this sweet girl's third birthday! We attended her party this saturday. She always has a bouncy house for all the guests to play in! Zane loved it, but so did all the kids who were there!

1. The kids tried and sometimes succeeded at climbing up the slide.
2. My little Dennis the Menace fighting with BJ. The boy like to wrestle. ha!
3. Zane and his new found friend found the toy room that had a TON of toys in it.
4. Chloe opening her gifts.




I had a great weekend, but I am tired. I need to catch up on sleep for the weekend coming up! We're going to play on the Teryx again! Happy Monday Y'all!

Tipping and Such

Happy Friday my Fabulous Followers!

Am I talking about cow tipping? Ha! No! Don't know what cow tipping is? Look it up! Don't laugh too much!



I'm talking about tipping your waitstaff, bartender, barber, stylist, etc! Most of us go to restaurants, have a few drankies at the local bar, and a few of us get a haircut every now and then. I know I do.

Most of us don't tip like we should. Okay, maybe it's just me because I am stingy with my money. Heck, I work hard for the green stuff! Ha! Blogging doesn't count! (which I make NO money doing)

This is a touchy subject to some. If I offend you I am sorry. I did not post this to hurt or upset anyone. Please feel free to express yourself as well.

Okie doke, so what is your method of tipping? Mine, well, it's interesting to say the least. At a restaurant if you are my waiter/waitress you officially start out with $10. If you keep my glass of sweet ass ice tea through out the whole meal with out me asking, kudos, you keep yo money. If I have to ask for it, you lose about $3-4. I really appreciate my wait staff and I know they live off tips, but you have to do your job to get paid. If you ask me how my meal is and if I need anything, most of the time I may say yes. So that keeps your money flowing. If I have to ask you to get me something without you asking first, Moma gonna take a dollar or two. Smile pretty and be polite is the only other thing I ask. If my waiter or waitress goes above and beyond my expectations, I have been known to tip $15-20 smackers! No lie, I do this in my head the whole dinner. I've done it so much that I do without really thinking anymore. (if that makes sense) Often you will be tipped at least $5-6, if you don't do the above. If I think you totally sucked and had a sour attitude, you might get less than $5 but you to be really bad!

Do you tip your barber/hair stylist? No? OMG! You need to start now! I was a stylist for 7 years so I should be able to give some good advice on this. Being able to cut some one's hair is a skilled craft. We work hard to know the latest and greatest so you can look good. We charge for our services but unless you own the place, you won't get all that. Your stylist will only get a small percentage of the amount you pay for the services they gave you. So you have to give him or her a little extra. I always tell people to tip at the least 20% of the total amount you are charged. Why? Well, barbers/hair stylists are always keeping up with the trends, but they also have to have continuing education in order to keep their license activated. (which is why I no longer practice) This is required by state board and is the only way that they can work in a barber shop or salon. They usually pay out of pocket for the continuing education classes, which can be expensive. They work hard to make you look good! No I ain't saying you're ugly, but hair doesn't do itself! So next time, think about it next time when you are getting you hair did! Tip 'em good y'all!

that I have not washed my Jeep in weeks. It looks grey! She's supposed to be black!

to be late to work every once in a while! ( I was 20 minutes late this morning) Oops!

to be wanting a new purse. I am eyeballing a Vera Bradley right now. The hubs thinks I need intervention. ( I have 2 tubs of purses I don't use)

that I need to shave my legs. TMI i know.

that I was almost 30 minutes late to my best friends birthday dinner because I was at home finishing her quilt I made.

that I was late, because the quilt justified it!

that I haven't actually cooked dinner in almost 2 weeks. I've just cooked frozen meals. Shame on me.
