T-Rex Cafe

Sometimes letting your child choose where to go for dinner can be quite the experience! We let Zane choose dinner for the night and of course he had to pick this place!

It was pretty neat seeing everything inside! As soon as you walk in the door there is a huge T-Rex to greet you. Then you are seated by the hostess. I couldn't take my eyes off of all the sights to see. As the hostess seated us she told us that once we made our drink order we could roam around, go upstairs and check everything out! She also said that there is a meteor shower every thirty minutes!

As soon as we told our waitress what we wanted to drink, we got up, camera phone in hand (that's all I had with me at the time), and ventured out into the Jurassic!

I tried to capture the meteor shower from upstairs on my camera phone, but I was unsuccessful. There is also a huge octopus that drapes over the saltwater aquarium that is in the middle of the restaurant. It's tentacles stretch over the entire place and they also move!

My favorite thing in the T-Rex Cafe was a huge white jellyfish! It sparkled and looked as if it were made of glass! It hung over the top of a large table, which made it more of a private area. The triceratops were my next favorite. I guess maybe because as a kid this was my favorite dinosaur and that it has a little baby beside it too!

After we walked around upstairs and downstairs we came back and ordered our food and it didn't take long for it to come out! The hubs and I shared a roasted chicken and ribs and Zane got a quarter roasted chicken. It was delicious! We had the waitress take our picture but it didn't turn out too good. I think it was because of all the different lights flashing and that bring aquarium behind us. I love it anyway! We made great memories that night!
