Our Story: Part 4 - The Ceremony

MM is a historic bed and breakfast that hosts weddings and other events. You might remember me mentioning MM back when we went to a mystery dinner.

It rained off and on for most of the day. That afternoon it rained cats & dogs! I was so afraid that I would have to move my wedding indoors, which no bride that planned an outdoor wedding would want to do! Thirty minutes before the wedding, the wedding director, had asked the groomsmen to move the chairs for the ceremony into the indoor pavilion! Umm, Did she not see the sun was finally shining? I intervened and had them move what chairs they had put in the pavilion back out to the garden where our wedding would take place. This was the only time bridezilla made her appearance.

As you can see in the picture above to the right, my bridesmaids shoes did not match at all. There is good reason! I wanted all of us to walk barefoot during the ceremony. I didn't plan for a back up for when it rained. I was okay with them wearing flip flops but forgot to have them remove them for photos. Oh well, it makes for great memories!

My bridesmaids along with my Fairy Flower Girls and myself. I didn't want traditional flower girls. I loved the idea of having the girls wear fairy like clothing, so that is what they wore! They thought it was the coolest thing ever!

All of these guys have been such a blessing in our lives!

My girls and I had some down time after getting dressed so we took some candid shots!

Whoa! Do you see those cell phones? Talk about the stone age!

He looks soo happy!

Ha! Seeing this unity candle photo makes me laugh! I really didn't have a unity candle song so the DJ just picked one out. It lasted over 5 minutes! Longest 5 minutes ever! Our intentions were to have a short and sweet ceremony. Not so much!

Whoa Nelly!

We're FINALLY married!
