Sometimes & Always #10

I'm linking up with Megan at Mackey Madness!

Sometimes: I need to be more thankful even when bad things happen.
Always: Pray that God can fix it, although this is all part of his plan!

Sometimes: I make a vlog.
Always: Have issues getting it to upload!

Sometimes: I wish that there was a miracle pill for weight loss.
Always: Remind myself that I need to get off my ass and do something about it!

Sometimes: I wish blog friends could just come over to my house and hang out.
Always: I tend to remember that you live so far away! Gah!

Sometimes: I order stuff online and get excited!
Always: Get giddy like a kid when I see a box on my porch!

Sometimes: I find a good deal that I've been looking for!
Always: Buy it, I don't usually regret it!

I also promised y'all the recipe for Apple Crisp! I cannot tell you enough how easy this was to make and how yummy it was! It did not last a day around my family! I even have enough stuff to make a second one!

So I was browsing Pinterest last week for an apple recipe and found this one! I just HAD to make it! so after grabbing a bag of apples at the Apple Festival Saturday, I was ready to make it for the dinner at my Mom's house that night! I used a even mix of red delicious apples and granny smith apples. I also sprinkled just a little bit of cinnamon on top before I stuck it in the oven! I served mine warm with ice cream! Enjoy! If you make it, let me know how you liked it!

Classic Apple Crisp
Ingredients

◦4 cups sliced or diced apples
◦1 tablespoon flour
◦1/2 cup sugar
◦3/4 cup brown sugar
◦1/3 cup butter
◦3/4 cup oatmeal
◦1/4 teaspoon baking soda
◦1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350. Combine the first three ingredients and place in a greased 8×8 baking dish.
2. Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the top of the apple mixture.
3. Bake 30 minutes at 350. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, or drizzled with caramel or honey. Refrigerate leftovers.
