O to the M to the big ole G

Apparently the Royal Baby was born! I'm so behind on these kinds of things. Heck I don't even watch the news! Like Monday night, I was baking a cake and got a call that there was a tornado that touched down in our town. Luckily no one was harmed.

First Pictures Of The Royal Baby

I love to watch reality tv, but I record it and watch it later. That way I don't have to commit to that specific time to stop what I'm doing to watch tv. If you've been reading a while, you know that my family and I are always on the go. We are always going somewhere and doing something. Life is too short to sit around doing nothing! lol

This weekend starts our big vacation! I am so excited! We will visit at least 6 if not up to 8 states while on this road trip! Make sure you follow on my instagram so you don't miss out on the good stuff!

We love to jam out to music on our road trips so, I'm leaving you with a playlist. Enjoy!

What Inspires Me?

What inspires me most is my life! Everything about my life is interesting at one point. Once I sit down and take the time to reflect on all the happenings and not happenings. At times I may feel bored or it may be that I feel pointless sometimes. It happens to all of us.

When I sit down and have a staring contest with the computer, I ask it, "What do my fingers and thoughts want to tell today?" Lately it's been blah, but I have some pretty good ones too.

When I saw this link-up on Helene's blog I wasn't sure if I wanted to participate, but I love a good link-up and I just couldn't pass it up! I marinated the idea in this ole brain of mine and came up with a few inspirations!

-One day I was sitting on the toilet reading Facebook statuses and it hit me! *BAM!* I need to write some crap on my blog!

-Adventures of our travels. We are always taking a trip somewhere and something always happens. Even breaking a foot on the third day!

-Weekend Shenanigans. Our little family is always busy doing something. Four wheeling, swimming, camping, day trips to who knows where, hanging with friends, even meeting blog friends and all that non-sense. I try to document it as much as possible. Unless the hubs threatens to throw my camera or phone out the window.

Photobucket

-Crafting. I did more crafting last year than this year. I think that is because the hubs seems to be around more this year. He usually is traveling out of town for his job. I do love to get my hands on a hot glue gun, fabric, and my sewing machine and go to town!

-Sometimes I even get inspired by the drama. Yes. Drama. I have it and you do too. Just admit it. We ALL have drama in our lives. Some I choose not to share, but sometimes I use this blog to vent. It's a great place to vent for me. Most of my family and friends do not read my blog and I'm okay with that because I do vent.

-The Obvious. Link-ups. Y'all know I love a good link-up. Sometimes they have the greatest ideas. They're not my ideas, but when it's a link-up you can claim them too. Good shiz yo.

Weekend's Over. Bah Hum Bug.

The weekend is over and I'm partially excited about it. You see, this weekend coming up with will be on vacation for 10 days! To say we're ready for this is an understatement!

On to the weekend- We got lucky this weekend and had a sitter Friday AND Saturday night! The hubs and I went to eat dinner and then just hung around the house and was lazy. Saturday, we went on a little adventure. We decided that we'd get in my jeep and just drive with no set destination. It was lots of fun!

We started out towards Georgia. Drove through the traffic in Helen and ended up near Hiwasee, GA. Along the way we found a covered bridge. We got out and took pictures in the rain. It was really cold for some strange reason. Maybe it was just me. Either way I loved it. The bridge was beautiful. It was sad to see all the graffiti though. No matter how artistic it may look, it's still a form of damage to a piece of history.

We also stumbled upon Brasstown Bald. From up top, you can see a 360-view of the mountains! It was breath taking. I only had my phone so I took the best pictures that I could. We rode the shuttle up and decided to walk back down. My calf muscles and butt muscles are still sore from that 6/10 of a mile steep grade trek back to the parking lot. Take my word for it and ride the shuttle both ways if you ever visit! There is also a really neat exhibit and movie to see while you're visiting! I hope to come back in the fall to see the leaves change colors!

We hadn't had breakfast or lunch yet, but by the time we finished at Brasstown Bald, it was almost 5pm! We were starving! So we found one of my favorite places to eat! Rib Country. For some reason, when we are in the area of the restaurants, that what I always want to eat! I love to sit and draw like a kid until my food arrives. We ordered a feast for two. Y'all, we had a whole meal out of the left overs for lunch on Sunday!
If you follow me on instagram, you got to see a picture of the huge feast!

It was nice to get out and ride around like we used to do when we dated. We'd take random road trips every weekend! It was a nice excuse to take my jeep out for a spin with her new sexy shoes!

How was your weekend?

Zane Take Over!

My Moma is letting me take over her blog today! That means I'm in charge and you have to do what I say!

Stop your foot, spit on the floor, and say "ah shit!" Don't tell my Moma I told you to say that cause I'll get a whoopin and I ain't got time for that!

But seriously, It's Friday and the weekend is here! I'm going to my MawMaw's house to play in the pool and watch movies. Not at the same time though. I heard you can get shocked or electrocuted or something. That sounds like it might hurt, so I'll stay away.

You can race me there, but I always win! I'll save you a root beer to cool you off since it's so hot here lately. Since I will be at my MawMaw and Papa's house my Mom and Dad will probably have a date night. BLEH! That is gross!

Speaking of gross, I like most gross things. Dirt, mud, spitting, grease, and I've even tried to eat bugs too. My favorite thing right now is armpit farts! Yeah! I like to annoy my Moma to death with armpit farts! I can make anyone laugh with those!

Music is my jam and right now I'm backingthatazzup to this:

P.S. You tell my Moma I said some cuss words and I'll punch you in the gut. Seriously.

Finish the Sentence Yo

Today's post is brought to you by Jake and Holly. I've come to read both of these blogs and I just love Big Holly to death! She's so real and so funny! (Jake, too!)

If I had one extra hour in the day... I'd work out like a fat woman should. I'm not being mean to myself at all. I just know that I need to do something about all this viggle jaggle to dig up that skinny lady living inside me. {yes, I went there}

I wish my name... was Anna DiMera, just like the one off Days of Our Lives. Yep, my mom LOVED Days! I grew up watching it and I still with tune in once a month or so. I got the generic Michelle of all names. I hated it growing up because my cousin and I shared that middle name. I even tried to change the spelling. That was until the DMV had a fit that my birth certificate said otherwise. They made me keep it as Michelle instead of Mechelle. I had signed it that way all through middle school. I've come to terms with it now. Stupid DMV.

Then                                                    Now

I think anything chevron is... a nice print. Too much on one article is a bit much, but I like it. It's different!

My last nightmare... Hmm. I'm not sure I've had one lately that I can recall.

Sometimes...I just want to live secluded to get away from all the drama. Maybe live on about 300 acres with my family, my parents, and the in laws too. Kind of like a cult or something. Then I think, hmmm, maybe not. I like my friends too! I can be such a social butterfly!

My last meal on earth would be... MEXICAN and PIZZA~ with a side of chocolate anything. Bazinga!

I would much rather be_____ than____. I know I've talked about my weight a lot lately, but whatevs. I would much rather be fat and happy that skinny and depressed. But I for sure wouldn't mind being skinny and happy happy happy! ;)

Mayonnaise... Yum, but only in moderation. When I was younger I freakin loved the crap out of Mayo, now, just a little bit will do.

10 years ago, I didn't think... That I'd be a Mommy and that I would be where I am. If it wasn't for my hubby believing in me and letting me do what I felt right, there's no telling where I'd be right now. Probably hanging with the wrong crowd being a low rent hoe. Okay, that last part, def. not!

Selfishly... I buy most of the things I see and want. But then I think about all that extra money going to loans to pay them off faster. That only happens after I've already blown that money on something else. SMH

My favorite show on TV right now... BIG BROTHER BABY! Well and The Bachelorette too! It's not as good as I'd hoped it'd be!

And, George Zimmerman... whodat?!? I don't watch CNN or any news if I don't have to. If I am at a restaurant during lunch and that is what's on I will, but that mess is a crying freakin shame.

Go link up so that I can read yours! I plan to try and read all the posts this week!

Honestly, I'm being Honest and full of...No not that. Random.

Come on in! I'm still here! I just have been one big ball of lazy.

I'm not promising anything lately. I'm in and out here in blogland.{TWSS} Hell, it's summer and we all want to get out and about! It's pretty much rained everyday here for the last two weeks and any chance I get to go outside, I'm doing it! Things are still busy around here and my house probably hasn't been scrubbed or thoroughly cleaned in two months. maybe more. I don't know. I lost count. Who am I kidding, I never counted to begin with.

I've been reading and commenting on all of your blogs and I love seeing what everyone else has been doing. Reading blogs is one of my favorite things to read.  I really don't read anything else unless it's a menu, but usually I don't even read that. This chick knows what she wants. #fatgirlproblems

Every now and then I've been getting small tiny teeny tiny itchiest of itches of having baby fever. (don't get your hopes up Moma) Where I see cute whittle babies all decked out in the cutest whittle outfits! I think of holding them and squeezing their whittle cheeks! Then I get thrown up on and reminded that they don't stay little forever! Zane still fits in my lap, so I can pretend once a month or so to get that itch gone. STAT! #aintnobodygottimefodat

I eat like I don't freakin care. I do, I care about that food going down and tasting so delicious all the way down! I hate the way I look but I don't feel the way I look. Does that make sense? What I mean is I feel:

I'm pretty happy with my innards. It's the outside I need to fix. There are so many people out there that aren't like this. I am truly lucky. & Thankful. Very thankful. #morefatgirlproblems

I'm obessing over Alex + Ani stuff. Like seriously. Other than my monogrammed necklace that the Hubs got my for my birthday.

*I spared you a boob shot. You're welcome.

I'm all over the map in my mind lately, so I'm going to leave this most random post ever on a lighter note:

Phone Dump

So, I've got a few photos off my camera from our beach vacation and the Fourth of July.

We spent 4 days down at the coast. As you might know, we go to Surfside a few times a year. We love it there and one day when I retire, If that's even an option when I get old, that's where you will find us. {or Outerbanks}

We spent most of our time outside on the beach. We relaxed and played hard. My mom and I have birthdays one week apart. Seven days to be exact. So we celebrated while we were with family.

Zane was really good the whole time. No melt downs or putting on the fake cry act. Ugh! I hate that crap! Ain't nobody got time fo dat! Let's have fun! Somehow he found a plunger and wanted to play ball with it. I had to bribe him to put it away and go wash his hands! lol He loves his 'little sister' but he so annoying to Willow. Poor pup.

Celebratory drinks and a surprise birthday cake for Mom and me! That drink combination is the bomb! The cake was made by the Hubs and my Grandmother. Red velvet with cream cheese icing and the thick white center you see is cheesecake. That's right folks! It was delish!

We ventured out riding around Pawley's Island and had pizza. Zane insisted he drink from 3 straws. Whatevs boy! My mom and I convinced the Hubs to take us to World Market. It was my Mom's first time. She loved it! I stumbled upon Chocolate Bandaids. I've never got sick about chocolate. Until now. No, just no.

Bumming out on the beach was and is our thing! We like to go out early after breakfast and get our day started. The beach is so nice and quiet then! When 11am rolls around that's when the crowds start rolling in and we roll out! I can't stand to be out there when every body and their brother's sister's mother's first cousin is out there. It seems like every five minutes you get a whif of different flavors of tanning oil and sunscreen. No thank you, I have my own to sniff. I guess that's part of being at the coast when it's a summer holiday. I still love it no matter what.

The boys worked so hard building sand castles that they worked up an appetite for some frozen lemonade. Zane loves to just run up and get his own. I joke with him and tell him that he just likes it because of the pretty girls.

Saturday evening we met up with my best friend and her family for dinner. We had a great time as always when we are together!

We enjoyed our trip and are ready for the next one! I'm so thankful that my grandparents provide us with a place at the beach. They are so great, not only for having this place, but being the best most selfless people that I know! Next vacation: Pennsylvania here we come! 14 days to go! Whew I love summer time!

Lotto Winning Daydreaming

So, yeah, I know, I've not blogged in a few days. I just needed a break. I'll catch up soon because I need to share with you about our little beach vacay and my birthday!
Let's get our dream on with Kristie & Holly today!

If I won the lottery, there is so much I'd do! First and foremost, I'd have to buy a huge chunk of property. 300 acres if I could. I'd build a huge off road park and open it to the public. It'd be in the mountains somewhere. I'd hire a bunch of people to work there so I wouldn't have to be there all the time and could spend the rest of my mu-lah!

I'd buy a big house in Outerbanks, NC with a pool. Yes, with a pool! I love the beach and I play in the ocean, but there is nothing like having a pool to swim in. I'd also have a big house in the mountains so that I could have the best of both worlds. Matter of fact, I'd have two mountain homes. One in the Smoky Mountains and near the Colorado Rockies. We love both places so we'd have both if we were filthy rich! This works out great because if I don't want to be hot in the summer, I can roll out to the mountains and leave the hubby behind! haha! {not that I would do such! ha}

I take all my girlfriends on a trip to Hawaii! We would stay for two weeks, that's right ladies, two freakin weeks! We'd tan all day long with a fruity umbrella drink in each hand! We'd spa it up afterwards and the party all night long! MRL, Pamela, Tamara, Bethany, Dana, and even my Mom, ya'll pack your bags because it's on like donkey kong!

I also save some the money for Zane's college education. We all know that shiz is outrageous! Gotta save up for it! I'd also donate to Susan G. Komen in honor of my MIL. I'd give some to the Ronald McDonald House because they've done so much for so many people I know. I'd also donate to the local animal shelter and a few other local places.

I'd try to find a company to invest in to make some money back that I spent out of my winnings. Who knows what that'd be. All I care about is spending time with my family and going to Hawaii with my girls!

What would you do with all that cheese?
