HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

Baby got back and it's Friday y'all! Was it just me or did this week just go by at a snail's pace? I was so freakin ready for it to end! It will be like that next week too, I'm sure of it!

Did you know that 7 is my favorite number? Cliche isn't it? Well I have good reason. Let me explain. This year is the 7th Anniversary of my 21st Birthday! (Okay, I have to fix this. I posted this post about an hour ago. As I was talking to someone I realized that I will be 29! Damn! I cannot believe that I got my own age wrong! Womp.Womp. Womp.) My actual birthday is July 7th. (7/7) Then my Mom's birthday is, you guessed it, SEVEN days later!

The hubby is really good at gift giving and keeping it a secret, but somehow I've managed to be included on my birthday presents thie year or he has spilled the beans! Talk about old age getting to ya! Whew! I think he's getting weaker by the year! {haha! I kid babe!}

I consider myself to be lucky. As bratty and spoiled as it may sound, I usually ask for things but this year I really didn't think about gifts this year until last week. I ordered one to gift to myself, the monogrammed hat, the others the Hubs did! How did I end up with gifts BEFORE my birthday?!? Have I been that good? Don't answer that!

On Tuesday the kid, the hubs, and I all went to my parents house for dinner. As we were in the kitchen preparing everything and talking my birthday came up like this:

My Mom: It must be nice for Anna to be at the beach every year for her birthday!
Me: I'm not there every year! I wish I was!
The Hubs: Oh! I bought you something today, Anna!
Me: Oh really?!? What?
Mom: I bet I can guess!
Me: Is it the necklace I want?
The Hubs: No, that's something you'll have to get online and order.
Mom: It has to be something he likes to for him to be so excited about it.
Me: (light bulb!) OMG! I know what it is!
The Hubs: What?
Me: The wheels and tires we talked about getting for my jeep!
The Hubs: (as have breaks one of his rules) Yes, but not the tires. That will have to come later. Wanna see 'em? They're in the back of my truck!

Oh he's losing his touch. Usually I cannot have a present until the day of my birthday or the day of Christmas! Even if we celebrate before hand! When we got home Tuesday night he let me get online and order the necklace I wanted. I cannot wait! I've been wanting one forever!

I hope y'all have a good weekend! I know I will! I'm going out with a girlfriend tonight! I'm pretty sure it's gonna get wild! I'll leave you with some jams for #backthatazzup Friday!

Me, Lately

Hola Readers! Newbies and Regulars, young and old, purple and green, whatevs you are I welcome you with open arms! I love that you're here and sticking around!

I've been here, there, and everywhere lately! I've also been cooking more! Which has been bad for me...bad for my weight... I hang my head in shame. I blame it on Summer time. Summer brings out the greatest foods for me!  I also blame Pinterest for sucking me in and spitting me out. Okay, it's neither one's fault, I take the blame. My fat arse will be the only one paying for all this dang food. It was good anyway.

Butterfinger Pie and Cracker Barrel Knock Off Chicken

My first pound cake with a glaze and Red Lobster Knock Off Biscuits

Take that all you fatty foods that taste so dang good!

We've also been to birthday parties and truck pulls. Zane (on the left) sliding with his glasses on because he said it kept the water out of his eyes! Zane (on the right) running a foot race at the truck pull. He wore flip flops and was pissed because one fell off half way through the race. In my defense I told him to wear 'real' shoes so he could run better and he chose flip flops. He'll learn next time!

This has been my saving grace for the past three weeks. Lumiday. I struggle with anxiety, moods more than any other some say, good and bad, but more bad than good. With this, my life is easier. I have less anxiety, almost always in a good mood and ding dong the bitch is gone! haha I used to take Lexapro, but since we have no insurance, I cannot get it anymore. I found this alternative at GNC. If you have struggles similar to mine, it might be worth checking into. (always consult your doctor before taking anything!)

 My child is a hot mess! He wanted to play the Xbox last night and race. I couldn't get the controller to come on and thought the batteries were dead. I made him wait until the Hubs got home to get it to work. He pitched a durn fit! So I was in the kitchen cooking when the Hubs came in and the first thing he asked Steve was to turn the Xbox on so he could race. I was right, the batteries were dead. About 10 minutes later and go into the living room and this is how I found him. Sitting in his little recliner, my zebra print neck rest and racing on the Xbox. Who knows what he was planning to do with that sword beside him! Maybe try to cut me if I took his controller!

Last night Big Brother 15 premiered! OMG! It's gonna be a great season! This summer is going to be a good one! We are also getting another mini beach vacay for the weekend of July 4th and taking a trip to Erie, Pennsylvania for a wedding and a bit of site seeing! Look out Niagara Falls and NYC!!! Oh vacation cannot get here fast enough!!!

Sunkissed VoxBox

When I first signed up for Influenster, I had no clue what I was doing. I barely do now. I just read the directions each time! Ha! This is the first time that I was chosen to get a VoxBox! I was super pumped up about it! I still am!

I got it on Monday and couldn't wait to share with everyone all the awesome stuff I got!

High heel insoles, BB cream, hair bands, and nail polish! What could be better? After testing, it was better, because I loved all of the products! Minus one, but I will share that in a minute! If you'd like an invite to Influenster, leave me a note in the comments with your email and I will invite you! {go ahead, hop to it}

 The Olay BB cream even took away some of my redness and evened it out on my face! I have a before and after picture posted on twitter!

Although I would recommend a top coat for chipping purposes. I didn't give mine a chance to chip, as I change my polish way too much!

I loved what Influenster sent me! I hope I get chosen again sometime! It was fun to try out new products and share with all of you what I liked about them!

Note: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am THAT girl

...the one who shows her butt if she doesn't get her way. Not in a temper tantrum kind of way. OR a spoiled brat kind of way. The way that if I ask for something and you don't do it right or how I asked, I show my butt!

...that rides with the windows down and the radio up singing to the top of my lungs!

...who would rather be camping and fishing than shopping.

...who speaks her mind. Sometimes it gets me in trouble.

...that is comfortable in her own skin.

...who is moody and sometimes takes it out on the wrong one!

...that will sing to the top of her lungs and not care who hears.

...the one that has a good time and can't act her age!

...the fat friend that doesn't care if we're shopping and you're in the dressing room trying on cute clothes. As long as you show me what you try on, and talk to me. I'm good. I'll be the one that is finding goofy hats and shade to put on and pose for you too! haha!

...that will get her drink on while out with friends and be the loudest one. Wait, I'm loud all the time.

...the one that is picky with shoes, or anything she wears and will not make a purchase every time. It's okay to go home empty handed. I saved myself some money. Then I go home and order it online. Yeah, THAT girl.

...the one that will give you the advice you need. Sometimes sugar coated and sometimes not. Truth is the truth. Get mad or not, that's your decision.

...that when she retires...if that is even possible when I get 60, I will see my house and by a small one in the Smoky Mountains and a small one in Surfside Beach. I will live at each 6 months out of the year. Oh. Yes. I. Will!

...the one that wants to know what kind of person are you? What are somethings you like about yourself? What are somethings you don't like? What's one thing you wish you could do when you get old enough to retire?

Get Your Sun On, But Protect Yo-self!

Happy Friday Lovahs!
Today is the first official day of Summer! What better way to ring it in than be out by the water? I wish! My tail is stuck in the office day dreaming about being by the water! So if you're like me and are stuck inside for most of the day, grab a piece of paper and write down what you need from this list. Because I know there is something on here for you!
  1. A hat- You need to cover your face more than anything! You don't want to wrinkle before you're supposed to! Get this monogrammed one from Marley Lilly!
  2. Your eyes need protection as well as your skin does! My go to shades are from Costa! You can find the Cocos here.
  3. No one wants their lips to peel or feel overly chapped from the sun! Get you some lip balm or chap stick with an SPF. Baby Lips from Revlon has 20 SPF! I cannot live without mine!
  4. I cannot express this enough- PROTECT YOUR SKIN! By using sunscreen you are protecting yourself from cancer among many other issues from sun and sunburns! I LOVE Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer! It's not greasy and stays put! It also doesn't have a funky smell! I cannot stand to smell that stuff, ugh!
  5. Towels are not just to dry off, you can use them to cover up areas that are getting too much sun! Or you can put on a cover up. I like the plus size ones from Lane Bryant!
  6. Being out in the sun you obviously need flip flops! No one wears boots to the pool! ha!
  7. Y'all have to have a cute bag to throw all this stuff in! I love the Scout bags myself!
  8. If you're going to be out in the sun, most likely you will be at a river, pool, or beach. We all know that in order to stay cool you must get wet. So sport something fresh and cute in a swimsuit! I'm loving this one piece from Target!
  9. Last but not least, you have to have something to keep those refreshing bevvies nice and cool. Stick with a Tervis, yo!
Well what are you waiting for? Plan that trip out by the pool and get your relaxation on! Don't forget to protect your fabulous self from those awful rays of sun!

My Wedding

I've posted about my wedding before. I loved everything about my wedding! Well at first I wanted a small country wedding at Cades Cove, but my sweet Mother wanted me to have a nicer wedding than that! I didn't mind one bit! Hell, she fit the bill so of course I'm gonna let her have her way! I love you Moma! Thank you for everything! It was a great day!

You can read all about the ceremony here, the reception here, and the rest of the story here!

Even though I said that I wanted a wedding in the woods, the wedding that we had was beautiful! It was way more than I imagined! My Moma did just about everything! (with my help of course!) From the invitations, to the decorations, down to my dress, my mom had it all covered! I love looking back at my pictures everyday! I even have days where I wish I could get married every single year, because trends come out that I wish I would have done at my wedding! Can we arrange this? The hubs would not be thrilled at all! Me on the other hand, I'd freakin love it!

Father's Day Weekend

As everyone knows, tThis past weekend was Father's Day. We celebrated the hubs all weekend long! We made him feel loved and appreciated fo sho! We headed to the coast for a little R & R. We arrived late in the night and had a bed jumping fest! {If you follow me on IG, you may see some repeats!}

We made sure that the Hubs felt like the BESTDADEVER! We had breakfast on the pier, played with our food, and soaked up the sun! {at little too much for this ol gal! I'm burnt!}

For dinner we met up with some family! Family we don't see very often. One in particular is my cousin Amy! {Hi Dah-ling!} She's the one we raided her house when we went to Kansas back at Christmas. We ate dinner and visited the Lazy Gator. A cute store in Murrells Inet. Steve had to model a few items for this ol blog purpose. {makes me proud!} I'm so glad that we got to spend a little time with Amy, her family, and her friend.

Steve says "D is for Diva!" ha!

Amy's beautiful neice!

 Amy, I'm so glad that we got to see you before you flew back to KS! Love you to the moon and back!
